Dominance personified, Michael Jordan squared off against Dominique Wilkins in the 1988 Slam Dunk contest at the since-leveled Chicago Stadium. Still 10 years away from completing his two NBA Championship “Three-Peats” (with Finals MVP honors for all six titles), Jordan proved he was already the best on the planet, besting Wilkins in the acrobatic exhibition in front of the hometown fans. This photograph captures Jordan in mid-flight during that memorable showdown and is autographed by its Hall of Fame subject. Framed to 25 x 20-15/16”, the 20x16” color print is signed by Jordan in silver-colored marker (“10” strength). Accompanying is a UDA hologram.
