A tale of two magnificent college basketball team's is told with this lot of (2) NCAA Finals programs. Led by dominant big man Jerry Lucas, the Ohio State Buckeyes rose to the top of the ranks in early '60s, making three straight Final Four appearances from 1960-1962, including their first national championship win in 1960. Twice they lost in the final game to the other top team of the period, the Cincinnati Bearcats, who laid claim to their first and second national championships in 1961 and 1962 and also finished as runners-up in 1963, capping off a five year string of consecutive appearances in the Final Four from 1959-1963.

The (2) NCAA finals basketball programs featured here both report in very desirable condition, with: 1960 with champions Ohio State (EX-MT); and 1961 with champions Cincinnati (EX). Jerry Lucas was named "Most Outstanding Player" in both the 1960 and 1961 tournaments and is pictured in the 1960 edition with Buckeyes teammates and fellow HOFers John Havlicek and Bobby Knight. Also pictured in the 1960 edition is HOFer Oscar Roberston, who led the tournament in scoring while playing for the Bearcats.
