Pose #168-6 and graded 6.5 EX/NM+ by SGC. The light-hitting Elmer Foster comes up big on his 1888 N172 Old Judge tobacco card. The crystal clear sepia rendering depicts the New York centerfielder catching a suspended ball against a country backdrop. This antique is properly centered with razor-sharp corners, crisp edges and a clean back. Very few from the N172 designation have reached such grading heights!
