Scattering 14 career wins over nine seasons with six different Major League franchises, former southpaw Yorkis Perez wore this Philadelphia Phillies home jersey during the club’s 2000 spring training session in Clearwater, Florida (just prior to his March 29 trade to Houston). The white knit button-down garment features a red pinstripe pattern and the script-style “Phillies” embroidered in red to a white twill plate across the chest. In red-on-white twill, “48” is sewn to the back and left sleeve, while “PEREZ” is arched atop the back number in like fashion. An MLB silhouette logo patch is sewn atop the back, while the tapered left front tail is home to a “Majestic” label and a size “48” flap tag. Within the left side seam, a fabric content tag features a “0062” gamer code. Moderate wear is evident with what appear to be faint tobacco stains on the front.
