As an influx of widely sought stars surfaced on the Major League scene, this Cuban Super League jersey was worn during a 2002 All-Star exhibition series between the Cubans and Mexico. The red micromesh button-down garment features “Orientales” embroidered in red-and-blue to a white twill plate across the chest. Just above, “CUBA” is embroidered in solid blue characters to a white twill plate. On the back, “37” is sewn in blue satin twill with red-and-white embroidered accents, while “GONZALEZ” is arched just above in blue embroidery on white twill. The left sleeve is home to a star-themed logo patch with Cuba and Mexico flags, as well as “Serde de las Estrellas” embroidered in yellow. White piping lines the collar and button path, while “BEISPORT” labels reside within the collar and on the left front tail. Moderate wear is evident.
Accompanying is a cap (Velcro-lined adjuster) with a Cuban flag on the front panel and "CUBA" in raised characters on the front panel/bill. Light wear
