The sole heir to the Revlon Cosmetics fortune, Peter Revson chose the break-neck pace of automobile racing instead. Having finished runner-up to Al Unser, Sr. in the 1971 Indianapolis 500, Revson went on to wins in both the 1973 British and Canadian Grand Prix races before a 1974 test run crash took his life at the tender age of 35. This display showcases Revson’s rare autograph. An 8-1/2 x 11” sheet features published text and photo newspaper clippings and is signed in black fiber tip marker. Revson’s endorsement projects (“9”) potency and is a cornerstone to any auto racing collection. Accompanying is a full photo LOA from JSA.
